Eurolev acquired

Eurolev the French based crane, access and telehandler rental company has been acquired from Jean Claude Fretiere by Thierry Jammes and Ever Capital, a private equity firm.

Eurolev, which was founded as a powered access company in 1989 and added cranes in 1992, had revenues in 2007 of €16.2 million and operates from seven locations, with 82 employees.

The company has a fleet of 900 aerial work platforms with working heights of between six and 40 metres, 160 telehandlers up to 21.5 metres and 16 mobile cranes with capacites up to 100 tonnes. It also offers mini excavators, wheeled loaders and rollers.

Rental revenues from lift equipment are derived as follows - 60 percent access, 15 percent cranes and 10 percent telehandlers.

Ever Capital invests in the acquisitions of French companies in various different sectors, it is managed by Jacques Levy and Christophe de Labrouhe both of who were bankers with Natixis the financial services company owned but Caisse d’Epargne and Banque Populaire.
