Snorkel chief executive Matthew Elvin said: “Mike has been a key member of the Snorkel sales team for many years, and is well known within the industry. An exceptional salesman, he has recently used his experience and product knowledge to help train and mentor our expanding sales team, ensuring his legacy will live on at Snorkel. On behalf of the entire team, I wish Mike the very best for his retirement – it is well deserved.”
Stevenson said: “It has been my profound privilege to spend 30 years in an industry that I dearly love. My years at Snorkel have been like working with family. Through all the past difficulties we stayed together and focused on our customers. I only wish I was a little younger and had time to stay and see the wonderful things in store for the team. It is time for me to step aside and let some of these great young men and women take this business to the next level.”
Owner Don Ahern added: “I have known Mike for many years, and I think of him as a friend. He was one of the reasons that I was excited to get involved with Snorkel back in 2013. An excellent salesman, he is also a true gentleman.”
