Italian crane rental company Autotrasporti Porro placed orders for two Tadano All Terrain cranes at Bauma - a 450 tonne AC 7.450-1 and an 80 tonne AC 4.080-1.

The seven axle AC 7.450-1 features a seven section 80 metre main boom and can also be equipped with extensions up to 59 metres for a 130 metre tip height, 56 metres of combined extension and fixed offset jib for a 133 metre tip height, or an 81 metre luffing jib and the enhanced SSL Sideways Superlift system for a similar tip height. Maximum counterweight is 150 tonnes.

The four axle AC 4.080-1 features a seven section, 60 metre boom and is equipped with the 8.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension for a maximum tip height of almost 79 metres and 40 degrees of offset. The crane can carry up to 9.3 tonnes of counterweight on board within 12 tonne axle loads.

Autotrasporti Porro will use the cranes predominately for infrastructure projects.
Co-owner Marco Cesari said: "We were looking for two cranes that would complement each other perfectly - one for heavy lifting and long reach, and one for jobs where space and mobility matter most. The AC 7.450-1 and AC 4.080-1 give us exactly that combination."
