Name that crane
A reader has come across a photo of an old crawler crane that he is unable to identify.
The crane looks as though it was used in a railway siding and possibly in the USA, but so far we are struggling to identify it here in the office, BUT have not yet given up.

I have Denis Ashworth's book GOING UP IN THE WORLD. I'll look through it to see if this might be in there.
That is a lovely little crane.. hope that it's still out there somewhere.. would make a fantastic restoration project. It actually has a bit of style to it !
Can't Spell Mokanic
I think it's a Northwest, built in Milwuakee, Wisconsin,USA. I don't know what model it is but would guess it was built in the late 50's or early 60's. That's all I have.
