Vertikal Days Hotels - UPDATED

A number of you have contacted us regarding the ongoing availability of the special room rates for Vertikal Days at the two closest hotels – The Holiday Inn and Thistle Hotel.

It seems that demand for rooms is much higher this year and some of you have been told that Vertikal Days has used up its quota of discounted rooms. The arrangement with the hotels this year was to keep the special offers open as long as possible.

WE HAVE NOW BEEN INFORMED THAT THE THISTLE HAS SOLD ALL OF ITS STANDARD AND DELUXE ROOMS TO VISITORS AND EXHIBITORS WHO HAVE ALREADY BOOKED. THEY ONLY HAVE SUITES AND MINI-SUTIES LEFT WHICH MAY BE DISCOUNTED FOR VERTIKAL DAYS BUT WILL OF COURSE BE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE RATE FOR STANDARD ROOMS. THE RAMADA ENCORE OR PREMIER INN STILL HAVE ROOMS AND ARE STILL VERY VERY CLOSE AND WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE MINI BUS ROUTE.

The Thistle has already confirmed that its special rate will continue until all rooms are sold. As a precaution email your reservations [email protected]
and copy in [email protected]. If you have already been charged £100 or more she will also help ensure that the discounted rate will apply.

The Holiday Inn has said that it is almost sold out and that the special rate expired last week.It might be worth checking on line but at the moment it says it has few rooms left.

The Ramada Encore has also contacted us to say that it still has rooms available at the special rate of £64 although rooms for the 16th are going fast.
