The ARA/Rental show 2005 in Las Vegas closes today

We will shortly produce a fully detailed review of the show with photos, in the meantime a short summary.

Trends to note at the show included:

The dramatic increase in the number of aerial lift manufacturers offering refurbishment and even rebuild programmes for their old machines or in some cases for competitors units too.

The increasing number of products at the smaller end of the aerial lift market nibbling further in to the top end of the scaffold and ladder markets.

The increase in rental and maintenance software linked into a machine via GMS phone technology and GPS satellite tracking.

New Products included the Genie Z-135/70, JLG's first trailer lift the T-350 and the Billjax 3632T a handy looking all telescopic trailer lift.
