New MD for Ramirent Sweden

Ramirent has appointed Erik Alteryd, 49, as managing director of Ramirent Sweden and member of the Ramirent group management team. He will assume his new role in July 2013.

Ramirent AB is the second largest equipment rental company in Sweden with annual revenues on 2011 of €183 million and 84 locations.

Erik Alteryd

Alteryd joins Ramirent from Veidekke where he was managing director of Veidekke Entreprenad – its contracting division. He has been in this role since 2009, prior to that he was regional manager of Veidekke Construction Stockholm, having joined the group in 2004 from Skanska.

He replaces Peter Dahlsten who left the company in October. In connection with the appointment Ramirent Sweden’s headquarters will move from Gothenburg to Stockholm where he will be based.
