AFI’s chairman David Shipman said: “Steve and Pete have both diligently worked their way up through the ranks at AFI and it is a real pleasure to see two young team members join the board. They are great role models for all of the committed and ambitious members of our team. There are no "glass ceilings" in our business and we look forward to welcoming more colleagues on to the board in the years ahead.”

As a result of the appointment of Williams and Wajner, the existing directors will now take on slightly different responsibilities. Richard Saunders will focus his attention on developing the company’s resale business, together with new business opportunities. Graham Osmond will focus on developing key accounts and major prospects across all of its business activities and Nick Higgins will assume full responsibility of all health, safety, environment and quality affairs, in addition to his other responsibilities.

Congratulations both, well deserved.
A mixture of 'relative youth' and the unquestionable 'experience' / saga members already in place on the AFI board should form the nucleus for a very successful team going forward. Good luck one and all.
