JLG adds fourth Palmer branch

JLG has appointed Palmer Johnson Power Systems as its authorised service provider for Los Angeles, California.

Trained and evaluated by JLG to service and repair JLG equipment it will now provide services which include equipment repairs and maintenance, annual inspections, mobile services as well as stocking spare parts. The Los Angeles branch becomes Palmer Johnson’s fourth to be appointed a service provider by JLG with its Kansas and Northern California branches being appointed in 2010 and 2011 respectively and its Oklahoma City branch being appointed last year.

The company said: “JLG is establishing a network of authorized service providers to help its customers have convenient access to high calibre service support. The program is designed to provide high-quality, responsive and cost-effective support in the field. These third party companies are focused on machine service where customer uptime and reduced maintenance costs are their priority.”

Palmer Johnson specialises in servicing and supplying components for heavy duty transmissions and axles. Operating from ten service branches across North America the company has more than 50 factory trained technicians.
