Hyster Bulgaria takes on Snorkel

Snorkel has appointed Hyster Bulgaria as its exclusive distributor for Bulgaria.

Hyster Bulgaria currently sells and rents Hyster fork trucks warehouse machinery and reach stackers from its base in Sofia. The company also has satellite operations in Veliko Tarnovo to the north, Varna on the east coast and Stara Zagora to the south.

Hyster Bulgaria’s sales manager Ivaylo Ivanov said: "We identified aerial lifts as a good sister product to sell into our existing customer base for materials handling equipment. We researched the market and decided that Snorkel was the best fit for our business. Snorkel really believes in the dealer model, supports its distributors and has a very comprehensive product range.”

"We are looking forward to marketing the Snorkel portfolio to our clients and expect to achieve some good sales in 2013."

Snorkel has worked with Hyster Bulgaria on an informal basis during 2012, and exhibited with the company at the Plovdiv fair last September.

Snorkel district manager Wim Jansink said: "Hyster Bulgaria's reputation for after-sales service is second to none. The company has a great customer base and there are lots of exciting cross-selling opportunities."
