The old pallet trick
Yet another example of a bright spark thinking that a pallet on the forks of a lift truck is powered access.
This time the culprit was spotted in St Neotts, Cambridgeshire in the UK, using a rented telehandler to telescope a man on a pallet out over the river to reach the wall of a building. Unlike some examples that we have seen this joker has made no attempt to add any sort of fall protection.

A telehandler a pallet and a man willing to take an unecesary and pointless risk
As if this was not enough, the telehandler has its rear end out into the street, one with double yellow lines - meaning no parking or unloading during the working day - and apparently there was no attempt to cone it off or protect it from passing traffic or make any arrangements for pedestrians.
In the words of our reader who took the photo: “Just thought you would like to see this death wish on a building site in St Neots, over a river on a pallet, no lane closed on the road nor any cones used!!!!!!”

A slightly closer look
A definite one for our Death Wish series
