Six Liebherrs for new depot
German rental company BKL Baukran Logistik has ordered six new Liebherr cranes for its new facility in Ingolstadt, where they will join a Liebherr MK 88 mobile tower crane with extended LM3 load chart to form the initial fleet.
The company has already taken delivery of a 60 tonne LTM 1060 3.1, a 45 tonne LTC 1045-3.1 and a 130 tonne LTM 1130 5.1, while an LTM 1095 5.1, an LTM 1100-5.2 and an LTM 1200-5.1 are due later this year. The LTM 1100-5.2 has been purchased with Liebherr’s VarioBase outrigger set up system.
BKL Ingolstadt manager Rainer Speich, said: “The VarioBase system enables us to offer our customers increased capacities in the 100 tonne class, even in constricted space conditions. We also regard this purchase as a further investment in crane safety, which is of paramount important for us at BKL."
