Spotted in Doncaster, UK ,a man pressure washing the roof of a drive-in with no work at height equipment and no safety equipment – except for his magical Hi-Viz coat of course!

Washing roofs has become a regular and increasingly popular activity in several countries, and while some operators employ safety measures, many do not and given the fact that employees are removing moss and other slippery contaminants with water on a sloped surface at height - the chance of a fall and serious injury is relatively high.
In this case we are delighted to say that our correspondent did go into the establishment – known for its golden arches - and asked to see the manager, in order to inform him of the risks and the alternatives available. Hopefully his advice was then heeded? UPDATE we hear that the job was indeed stopped while the manager considered alternative access methods.
