Day two at the ARA

Bravi has a good reception to its Leonardo lift.

The Italian self propelled producer found a great deal of interest for its compact 4.9 metre working height Leonardo, mast lift with dual deck extensions. The company is currently looking for distribution in North America and other open markets. It says that it has capacity to build over 2,000 units a year.

The Bravi Leonardo mast lift

In the UK the line is now represented by APS which recently delivered 10 units to Heathrow airport’s new Terminal five. The lightweight units, which weigh a total of 470 kgs, are working on mezzanine floors during construction and will probably remain afterwards for maintenance work.

PLE Inc has taken over the Mariotti trailer mounted scissor lift range and completely upgraded the 18 and 24ft platform height models. In addition it can now offer the two models designated the PLE 18 and PLE 24, with CE marking and European running gear.

PLE Trailer mounted scissor lifts

The company is now looking for representatives in Europe. With an overall width of 1.25 and 1.5 metres, roll out deck extensions and GVW of under a tonne, the units offer a powered alternative to a scaffold tower.

During our tour of the stands, we came across a very well manned AWPT/IPAF both, with ex pats Mike Pitt and Kevin O’Shea who are spearheading the Mastclimber training efforts in North America assisted briefly by John Ball and Fergus McArdle of Easi UpLifts of Ireland and Scotland.
