Terex adds to environmental division
Terex Materials Processing has acquired the Neuson Ecotec assets associated with its Environmental Technology product lines.
This is the second minor bolt-on acquisition that Terex Materials has made this year, in April it purchased the assets of Continental Biomass Industries both have gone into Terex Environmental Equipment division of the Materials business.
The Neuson Ecotec products will add chipping, shredding, screening, and composting products, along with a facility in Linz, Austria. Neuson Ecotec retains its Forestry division and will rebrand as of Neuson Forest.
While Neuson Ecotec/Forestry was originally part of Neuson Baumaschinen it was separated prior to the 2007 merger with Wacker that created the telehandler and compaction group Wacker-Neuson.
