New head for Manitowoc food
Manitowoc has appointed Hubertus Muehlhaeuser as chief executive of its Foodservice business- due to be floated as a separate business next year.
Most recently he was previously general manager for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East at agricultural equipment manufacturer AGCO, which includes Massey Ferguson and Fendt, among others. Before that he spent 10 years at the global management consultancy firm Arthur D. Little, where he was a partner, serving as managing director of the Swiss operations and as the global leader of the Strategy & Organisation practice.

Manitowoc group chief executive Glen Tellock said: “Hubertus is a strong addition to the Foodservice team. His combination of strategic leadership and operational successes will be imperative as the business looks to capitalise on the significant opportunity ahead of it. I look forward to working closely with Hubertus over the coming months as we transition into two separate, market-leading businesses”.
No statement has been released yet regarding the position of Bob Hund, who has led the Foodservice division since he moved from cranes in 2013 to become president.
