First LTM 1400 in Michigan

US crane rental company McNally-Nimergood has taken delivery of a 400 tonne Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1 All Terrain crane

The new seven axle crane is the first to be delivered in Michigan and is also one of the largest cranes currently operating in the region. Manufactured and assembled at Liebherr’s Ehingen facility, the crane was shipped to Baltimore, Maryland and loaded with all its accessories onto 13 low loaders for the move to McNally’s facility in Saginaw, where it carried out its first job.

McNally-Nimergood president Jeff McNally, said: “This crane is a terrific addition to our modern fleet. Despite its relative size, the machine is surprisingly manoeuvrable. We spent nearly a year looking into the purchase of a new crane as there are a number of things to consider when buying a piece of equipment this large.”
