PASMA strengthens ties with ASIA
PASMA, the UK based mobile scaffold tower association, will sign a memorandum of understanding with the Access and Scaffolding Industry Association (ASIA) at its tenth anniversary celebrations in Singapore.
The memorandum will be signed by PASMA’s technical director Don Aers and ASIA’s president Jonathan Wan and is intended to promote closer cooperation between the two associations.
Aers said: “By working more formally and closely together we aim to encourage and develop best practice throughout the region when working at height using mobile access towers. As organisations we have a lot in common and it’s only natural and logical therefore that we should forge a closer working relationship to stimulate and improve height safety.”
Founded in 2005, ASIA was established to improve safety and industry standards in the access industry throughout South East Asia.
