Among many technical improvements, the second section of the jib can now be telescoped with the radio remote controller. The jib telescope is now cable operated , saving the weight of a hydraulic cylinder and boosting capacity. The superstructure has also been redesigned to incorporate a telescopic counterweight saving both space and weight.
The new work platform is larger, being two metres wide by 730mm deep with an improved 300kg platform capacity – good for up to three people. The platform can also no be operated with the remote controller. Other improvements included larger fuel tanks and dual cable followers on the winch. The K1000 RSX can be mounted on 18 tonne chassis or larger.
