New Runabouts for Quick Reach

UK rental company Quick Reach has taken delivery of 13 new 15ft Genie GR-15 Runabouts from local distributor Workplatform.

The self-propelled GR-15 mast lift provides a working height of 6.5 metre and a platform capacity of 227kg. The new machines will be based at Quick Reach's new location in London.

Quick Reach director David Barton said: “The Genie Runabouts were ready to rent immediately. This is just the sort of flexible service our expanding rental operations benefit from. Jonathan’s team at Workplatform were great to do business with and made the process easy, pulling out all the stops to get this order together. This is part of a larger order so we will be working together again in the near future”.

Jonathan Hull of Workplatform added: “We are increasingly finding that rental companies are turning to us for our quality and fast service, if we have the machines in-stock we can often turn the order out that day. To meet the customers’ requirements, workload was adjusted in our recently expanded service department. All 13 Genie Runabouts where fully charged, received software updates, got a full PDI, LOLER inspection and customer decals all completed by the time the lorry arrived for collection at our Derby facilities”.
