PB for PFK Group

German rental company PFK Group has taken delivery of three 50ft PB S171-12E scissor lifts.

The three lifts were delivered from PB's facility in Oberbechingen, Bavaria to PFK in Cologne. One of the machines went straight out to site at a local climbing hall to work on safety checks and repairs at the 2,000 square metre facility, including work on the 17 metre high climbing walls.

The PB S171-12E provides a working height of 17.1 metres and 400 kg platform capacity. The machine is also compact with an overall width of 1.22 metres, an overall length of three metres, and a retracted height of 3.24 metres.

Oliver Neukum of PFK said: “We were looking for a compact platform with a working height of 17 metres for our rental customer, the owner of an indoor climbing hall. It was also important, that the machine fitted into as little a space as possible, with exceptional stability. After an extensive search the PB S171-12E was the only model on the market, which could meet all of the criteria. The customer and his staff are more than satisfied with the scissor lift and have a lot of fun while working with it“.
