New Ormig electric crane

Italian industrial crane manufacturer Ormig has officially launched the new battery electric pick & carry crane - the 55/60iE - seen in prototype form at Bauma. Aimed specifically at projects with restricted working space the crane has a 60 tonnes maximum lifting capacity.

The crane measures 2.35 metres high, 2.35 metres wide and weighs 24 tonnes without counterweight which says Ormig, allows it to be transported throughout Europe without special transit permits.

The maximum lift height is 13.5 metres and the crane has a maximum lift radius of 8.5 metres. Options include manual and hydraulic jibs.
Features include a very small turning radius due to the 90 degree rotation of the rear wheels and like all other Ormig cranes is road legal.
