Hiab extends warranty

Hiab is to provide a standard two year warranty on all of its loader crane models delivered from the start of October.

The extended warranty was announced today at the IAA in Hanover and will be valid for all loader cranes delivered as of 1 October 2016 which will also have a full five years warranty in all structural elements.

Hiab senior vice president Joakim Andersson said: "Hiab loader cranes are all about performance. The combination of control, safety and reliability is unique in the industry. With the extended warranty we want to show our customers that when investing in a Hiab loader crane they will always get the best possible performance with the equipment.”

Quality & product support director Tobias Bunne added: "Quality and safety are Hiab's top priorities in product development, production and service. The quality of our loader cranes is on such a high level that we decided to extend our warranty. This is a deliberate step to reduce the business risk for our customers and at the same time strengthen the continuous improvement cycle. We want our customers to stay competitive with our products and want to help them run their business more efficiently without any concerns."
