Genie adds to UK sales team

Genie has appointed Lee Edwards as southern territory sales and dealer manager in the UK.

Based at Genie UK in Grantham he will report to John Chandler, regional sales manager for the UK and Ireland. His principle role will include maintaining and developing a portfolio of key customers focusing on Genie platforms, Telehandlers and Aluminium products.

Edwards previously worked for JLG UK where he spent more than nine years as national account manager, before leaving in 2014 to work in the access rental business. Before his time at JLG he was a regional sales manager at Kingspan insulation for two years. He joined the company in 2003 after three years with Travis Perkins as area sales manager in the South West. He started his career with a four year spell at builders merchants Jewson.
