New chairman for Deutz
German engine manufacturer Deutz has appointed Frank Hiller, 50, as chairman of the executive board, succeeding Helmut Leube, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Hiller joins the company from Leoni where he was director of the Wiring Systems division and director responsible for sustainability. He joined the company in 2013 following four years with Man Truck & Bus. Prior to that he was chairman of F.X. Meiller Fahrzeug-und Maschinenfabrik, having joined in 2005. Before that he was chairman of ThyssenKrupp Federn, having joined the group in 1997.

Chairman of the supervisory board Hans-Georg Härter said: "We are delighted to have appointed someone as the new chairman of the management board who has considerable experience within our industry both on the engineering side and in sales and marketing. We would like to thank Dr Leube for his highly valuable contribution and wish him all the best for the future."
