Rivertek opens new UK facility
Irish crane distributor Rivertek Services - the European dealer for Kato Cranes - officially opened its new UK facility near Cannock with an open day.
On a rather wet Saturday morning, the facility in Burntwood, Rivertek's first UK depot, was packed with guests as well as a range of Kato city-type All Terrain cranes on display including a 13 tonne CR-130Ri, a 20 tonne CR-200Ri and a 35 tonne CR-350Ri.
Representatives from both Rivertek and Kato welcomed guests from all around the UK and were happy to talk to everyone and catch up with customers new and old.

Rivertek managing director Colin Cleary said: "We are happy to relaunch a well known brand in the UK and give crane owners another option when buying new cranes with our dedicated sales and support centre. Our target is to introduce the CR brand of cranes to new customers, where we see the huge potential of a niche market."
Director John Cleary added: "The reliability of Kato cranes is why we continue to invest in its products. We have received a lot of positive feedback and this new, centrally located depot is a huge step for both companies."
