34 Kalmars for C.RO Ports
Luxemburg based RoRo terminal operator C.RO Ports has ordered 34 Kalmar DRG450 Gloria reach stackers.
Deliveries of the new machines will begin in December and run through until December next year and will go to the company’s ports in Killingholme, Sutton Bridge and Purfleet, London in the UK, Rotterdam, and Vlissingen in the Netherlands and Zeebrugge in Belgium. They will support the five year growth plans of C.RO and sister terminal operator CLdN - which operates from Dublin in Ireland, Esbjerg in Denmark, Göteborg in Sweden and Leixoes in Portugal.
19 of the 34 reach stackers will be equipped with Kalmar's K-Motion technology, which helps reduce fuel consumption and emissions by up to 40 percent, compared to existing equipment. They will also come with the SmartFleet remote monitoring solution.
