Ership agencies director Carlos Nardiz said: “Our terminals are currently faced with the challenge of constantly raising our standards. The new cranes from Terex Port Solutions provide even higher performance and reliability compared to the Terex Gottwald Generation 4 cranes previously supplied, and will help us increase our handling rates in the long term. Moreover, the delivery time of the machines is particularly short, which enables us to respond quickly to the high number of customer inquiries for our bulk handling services.”
Alfredo Cañibano of Terex Port Solutions added: “To accelerate the commissioning of the mobile harbour cranes and provide high profitability from delivery on, the machines are fully assembled in Antwerp and then shipped to Spain where they can be put into operation quickly. Ership is a leading player in an important bulk market. Our business relationship started in 1997 when we delivered the first HMK 300 EG mobile harbour crane to Huelva, Spain. Since then, they have regularly ordered further cranes to expand their bulk activities.”
