Twin Liebherrs for Bryn Thomas

UK rental company Bryn Thomas Cranes has taken delivery of two 40 tonne Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1 All Terrain cranes.

The two axle four wheel drive, four wheel steer cranes feature a four section 35 metre main boom, which can handle 7.4 tonnes when fully extended and 1.1 tonnes at the maximum radius of 31 metres. Both cranes will be based at the company’s Manchester depot.

Managing director Dylan Thomas said: "We are very pleased to take delivery of our two brand new 40 tonne Liebherr mobile cranes. These new additions will enhance the company’s capacity to service its loyal client base with the very best brand and crane in its class."

The ownership of Bryn Thomas Cranes, which also owns crane rental company BJW Cranes, has changed this year as the three sons purchased the business from their father Bynn.
