50 Snorkels to Turkey
Turkish rental company Ayhanlar Platform has taken delivery of 50 Snorkel aerial lifts, including 40 19ft S3219E and six S3226E electric slab scissor lifts, plus two 46ft A46JE and two 46ft A46JRT articulated boom lifts.
The 812mm wide S3219E and S3226E offer platform capacities of 250kg. The A46JE and A46JRT feature a dual articulated riser, two section telescopic boom and 1.5 metre articulated jib, providing a working height of 16 metres with over seven metres of outreach and 227kg platform capacity. The aerial lifts were delivered by Snorkel’s Istanbul based distributor Uzman Lift.

The 50 Snorkel lifts have been delivered
Ayhanlar Platforms general manager Necip Ayhan said: “We were introduced to the new Snorkel electric scissor lifts by Uzman Lift, and were very impressed with the features that have been designed into the lift to lower the total cost of ownership. Uzman Lift were able to provide immediate delivery, and this has been followed up by a visit from a Snorkel product support engineer who came to train our technicians quickly after we received the lifts. Established in 1997, Ayhanlar Platform operates from four branches in Istanbul, Gebze and Kayseri, and runs a fleet of 650 platforms. The company also offers a specialist fleet of higher reach platforms under the BigLift division, which it typically supplies to the wind power industry for turbine installation and maintenance.
