GMGs for Skywalker

US access sales and rental company Skywalker DDI (Dealer Development Inc) has taken delivery of its first GMG slab electric scissor lifts.

The scissor lifts in this first delivery include the 26ft 2632-ED with direct electric drive. The units are said to be part of a larger order. Based in Denver, North Carolina, Skywalker DDI offers a wide range of scissor and boom lifts from Skyjack, Genie, JLG and Haulotte .

President Dan Kaeser said: “At Skywalker we are constantly looking for better solutions for our customers. The team at GMG has taken scissor lifts to the next level of evolution. The direct electric drive and management of available battery power is very impressive, this will provide our customers with extended duty cycles which has been sought after for some time. We can provide our customers with another level of comfort, the removal of the hydraulic drive system not only eliminates leaking drive hoses but results in a whisper quiet operation and very smooth controls.”
