Tadano dealer adds GR-1200XL
US based sales and rental company and Tadano dealer Scott-Macon Equipment has taken delivery of one of the first units of the new 110 tonne Tadano GR-1200XL Rough Terrain crane.
The new two axle crane was unveiled at Conexpo March with the first shipments beginning last month and features a six section 56 metre main boom, plus a 10.1 to 17.7 metre bi-fold swingaway extension with up to 45 degrees of offset, with a maximum tip height of 76 metres. Maximum working radius on main boom is 44 metres or 47 metres with the extension installed. The new crane went straight to work for a global energy company outside of Houston.

Tadano America vice president of sales Ken Butz said: “We are pleased to present Scott-Macon with the delivery of their first GR-1200XL. Today, we offer our appreciation for their commitment to our crane products and recognise Scott Macon as a valued Tadano dealer.”
Scott-Macon Equipment senior vice president Robert Woodruff added: “The GR-1200XL fills that gap nicely between the GR1000XL and GR1600XL. The long boom, transportability and Tadano’s reliability will service both our commercial and industrial customer bases very well.”
