Lincs Lifts expands

UK access rental company Lincs Lifts is moving to larger premises in Scunthorpe, north east England, adjacent to its old location in South Park Road.

The new facility, more than twice the size of the old one, includes a double workshop, transport office, and a parts store, as well as a larger yard and bigger offices.

The company was established a year ago, with less than 30 platforms and now has more than 130 in its fleet. It has also placed orders totalling £700,000 for new machines for delivery in 2018.

Managing director Wayne Grainger said: “Most importantly, the new site includes dedicated training facilities. We are working with IPAF on our accreditation and hope to be offering IPAF courses very soon. I felt there was a gap in the market for an independent powered access specialist that had strong local knowledge and a focus on customer service. Our first year has been a whirlwind – a lot of hard work, but the business has gone from strength to strength.”
