60 units for Active
Scottish rental company Active Access has taken delivery of 60 aerial lifts from Genie, Hinowa and Isoli from distributor APS.
The Genie units include the 125ft S125, 150ft SX150, 80ft S80 and Z80, 62ft Z62, 45ft Z45 and 65ft S65 boom lifts. The Hinowa spider lifts include the 17 metre 17.75, 20 metre 20.10 and 26 metre 26.14 Lightlift models. The Isoli platforms are the 21 metre PNT 210JD4.
This order follows a 50 unit deal, announced earlier this week for JCB slab electric scissor lifts. The company also plans to invest around £1.7 million in around 150 new machines next year, taking its fleet size to over 480 units. Active was acquired earlier this year by Euro Mechanical Handling -

Euro Mechanical Handling managing director Seref Zengin said: “We acquired Active Access because we knew it was a company with great potential, and we have truly transformed the business this year. Our main goals were to invest in our fleet, significantly grow turnover and also move up the value chain, with signed supply agreements with major construction contractors. We are delighted to have already achieved all our objectives and our focus has now moved to next year’s goals.”
“We like working with APS because it is a company that shares many of our values, such as professionalism and a dedication to customer service. It provides a high level of after-sales support and believes in forming long-term strategic partnerships.”
