Maeda updates the MC285C

The first batch of the new third generation Maeda MC285C-3 spider cranes have arrived in Europe.

The units have been delivered Kranlyft, the Maeda master dealer for Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

The Maeda MC285C has been one of the most popular machines in the Maeda range and offers a 2.82 tonne maximum capacity, a five section 8.6 metre full power boom which offers a maximum tip height of 9.7 metres. All in a crane that has an overall stowed width of 750mm. New features include slew limit setting, new seven inch display, HBC radio remote control and the option to add a quickly removable self contained AC electric power pack. The multi position outrigger system is fully monitored by the load moment limiter to add to its versatility. Power comes from a Yanmar EU Stage V diesel which meets the requirements of the new emission standards that are valid from January 2019.

Standard features include programmable moment limiter, crane and outrigger interlock device, multi position outrigger system, powerful winch with hydraulic disc brake, hydrostatic transmission, data logger, 4/2 fall hook block, tilt alarm, while options include: an 850kg searcher hook and auxiliary winch with 900kg capacity.
