Lineman electrocuted
A lineman was electrocuted on Monday while working from a truck mounted platform/bucket truck in Smithville, Tennessee - between Nashville and Knoxville.
The man, Joseph Charles McAdams, 55, was reportedly working alongside two other linemen for a company contracted by Comcast to install fibre cables, when he apparently threw a conductive rope containing copper wire over the power line, rather than the non-conductive one, causing him to receive a massive shock.
When paramedics arrived he was slumped over the controls and declared dead at the scene shortly afterwards.
