Amquip Buys Shaughnessy
Amquip says that it has acquired Shaughnessy cranes services the Boston based crane and powered access rental company from NES (National Equipment Services) which has owned Shaughnessy since the late 1990’s
Shaughnessy/AmQuip will offer a complete line of cranes throughout the New England region, including rough terrain, all terrain, crawler and
tower cranes, ranging from six to 600 ton capacity.
The Shaughnessy division of Amquip will retain its headquarters in its current Boston location
NES was acquired last year by private equity company Diamond Castle Holdings and is apparently investigation a flotation.
