Latest Konecranes for Brazil
Brazilian terminal operator Super Terminais Comercio e Industria (Super Terminais) has ordered its first Konecranes Gottwald pedestal harbour cranes for its Manaus riverport, located where the Amazon and Rio Negro rivers meet.
The order comprises of three ESP.10 cranes from Konecranes latest Generation 6 range - see:
Sixth generation Konecranes. Mounted on pedestals on a new floating pier, the 125 tonne ESP.10 offers a radius of 64 metres and can service vessels up to super-post Panamax class. The cranes will be used to handle standard containers and general cargo with power coming from an on shore mains supply.

The new ESP.60 cranes are pedestal mounted rather than on wheels or tracks
