New CEO for WowNow
UK virtual rental company WowNow Hire – formerly Nationwide Hire – has appointed Anthony Pearlgood as chief executive.
Established in 1995 and rebranded as WowNow Hire in April, the company claims to work with 4,000 suppliers to offer more than five million pieces of equipment - ranging from powered access, construction equipment and tools, to temporary accommodation and waste disposal - from 9,000 locations throughout the UK and Ireland.
Pearlgood joins the company from Restore Datashred, where he has been managing director for the past three years. He began his career in 2001 after setting up shredding, waste and recycling business Confidential Destruction Services (CDS), which he sold to the PHS group in 2006. He remained with PHS for 12 years as director before becoming managing director of PHS Data Solutions in 2013, leaving for Restore in 2016.
