CTE goes Green-G
CTE has partnered with Italy’s Green-G Electric Vehicles to develop a range of zero emission truck mounted platforms.
The agreement between the two companies includes the exclusive supply of Green-G’s 3.5 tonne electric ecarry chassis, which CTE plans to use for a line up of zero-emission platforms, for urban or regional applications.

We are awaiting further details on the new range, however we know that the ecarry chassis has an overall width of 1.59 metres, is 1.96 metres high and somewhere between 5.2 and 5.6 metres long. A 35kWh or 70kWh nickel manganese cobalt lithium battery pack is said to offer a range of more than 200km on a single charge, while an additional 35kWh battery pack takes it over 250km. It has a maximum speed of 80kph.

CTE sales director Marco Govoni said: “This agreement is the natural consequence of our green vision of the future. We chose "ecarry" and Green-G - Electric Vehicles because it is a vehicle totally developed and produced in Italy and we believe in the value of Italian excellence. It will not be a single model, but a specific range dedicated to all users who require zero-emission equipment."

Green-G managing director Antonio Chiello, added: “The ecarry is the most advanced vehicle of its category, with performances clearly above standard. It is a light truck designed for Urban services contractors, public authorities, couriers and last mile delivery operations etc.. And is particularly well suited to companies that operate in city centres and carrying out repetitive duties involving numerous starts & stops, especialy in ultra low or zero emission cones.”
We will of course update this as soon as we have more details.
