Two new Liebherr for Bronzeshield

UK rental company Bronzeshield Lifting has taken delivery of a 60 tonne Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 along with a 110 tonne LTM 1110-5.1.

The five axle LTM 1110-5.1 has a seven section 60 metre main boom topped by a hydraulic luffing 10.8 to 19 metre bi-fold lattice swingaway extension. Two seven metre lattice extensions can be added to offer a maximum tip height of almost 96 metres. It also features a Stage V engine plus Liebherr’s Eco mode and can travel with all 29 tonnes of counterweight within 16 tonne axle loads.
It is has the manufacturer's VarioBase outrigger set up system and remote control for all the superstructure functions.

The new LTM 1110-5.1


The three axle LTM 1060 features a six section, 48 metre main boom topped by a 9.5 to 16 metre bi-fold swingaway extension for a maximum tip height of 67.5 metres. It can also travel in the UK with it full counterweight - 12.8 tonnes - and extension on board. The new crane features ECOmode and ECOdrive systems for improved fuel consumption and was ordered with VarioBase outrigger set up and full remote control of all superstructure functions.

The LTM 1060-3.1


Managing director Bill Frost said: “We are delighted to be investing in Liebherr to expand our fleet to further serve our UK customer base. These new Stage V emissions complaint models will enable us to fulfil customer needs where this is a prerequisite.”

Steve Elliott of Liebherr added: ”We are delighted that Bronzeshield has chosen these two models from our range for their fleet. The LTM1060-3.1 is no doubt the three axle crane of choice amongst most customers here in the UK and the LTM1110-5.1 is gaining momentum too.”

Bronzeshield is based near Crayford, Kent, on the south east side of London. Its fleet includes All Terrains up to 500 tonnes, spider cranes and Spierings mobile self-erecting tower cranes. It also has depots in Bromsgrove, near Birmingham and Norwich in East Anglia.
