Crane Safety
The annual Crane Safety Conference kicks off on Monday, June 4th in central London. The organisers tell us that there are still places available should you want to book.
The two days are packed with presentations covering both mobile, tower and industrial cranes.
A good deal of the event is focussed on lifting within the energy sector, including power station and oil and gas construction and maintenance.
Speakers include Ian Simpson of the HSE, Roland Verreet of Wire rope technology, Mike Palmer and Dai Davies of British Nuclear group Sellafield Christoph Schneider of Liebherr, Mike Rock, safety manager of RWE Power, Keith Anderson of Bechtel, Peter Hegenbart of Wolffkran and John Short of Statoil, along with many others.
