Italian truck mounted and spider lift manufacturer Multitel Pagliero has appointed Norwegian sales group Hybeko as its distributor for Norway, Sweden and Finland.
Established by Magne Forland in 1972, Hybeko is based in Skien, south west of Oslo, with branches in Bergen, Trondheim and Lillestrøm. The Forland family still owns the company while Svein Inge Forland is chairman. Chief executive Espen Johannessen is also a shareholder.
Hybeko has been the Genie distributor for Norway since the early 1980s, and now represents the manufacturer in all three markets, it is also the Dino dealer in Norway, and offers the Ixolift low level non powered platforms, along with its special tunnel and cliff face platforms, and is the Leguan dealer for Norway and Sweden. Revenues in 2022 reached €60 million.
Roberto Marangoni of Multitel Pagliero said: "We share with Hybeko the same growth ambitions, a great experience in the aerial lifting sector, a solid track record in after-sales service, as well as important corporate values. We are very pleased with the agreement, and confident that the complementarity of Multitel's product with Hybeko's existing portfolio can be an added value for the three markets and its customers.
