A man has died at a construction site in Leeds, UK. He apparently entered the site overnight and climbed a luffing jib tower crane, only to fall from it. His body was discovered by site staff as they arived for work. The emergency services were called but the man was declared dead at the scene.
The main contractor on the site for a new high rise student accommodation block, is HG Construction.

A statement from the West Yorkshire Police said: “At 7.54am today (Wednesday) police received a report of the body of a man having been found at a construction site in Central Road in Leeds city centre. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. He is believed to have entered the site last night and fallen from the crane. He was not a member of the site’s work crew.”
