Five Terex for Proschwitz

German company Proschwitz has purchased five new Terex TT flat top tower cranes including six tonne/60 metre jib CTT152, the eight tonne/65 metre CTT172 and 10 tonne/65 metre CTT202.

All three models are equipped with the manufacturer’s latest electronics and systems, which help ensure precise load control regardless of the operator’s skills, while providing instant operating data and simplifying crane setup and helping reduce installation time.

Detlev Proschwitz said: “We are proud to strengthen our fleet with additional top level cranes from Terex, which have been designed in close cooperation according to the needs of our customers. High performance and reliability are the key factor for our success on the job site.”

Based in Trittau on the edge of Hamburg, Proschwitz was established in 1985 by Wolf-Dieter Proschwitz who began his career in 1962 as a service technician for tower cranes and mixing plants at Kaiser-Baumaschinen (now Ammann Elba). In 1970, he moved to Hamburg to manage the Peiner crane operation in addition to Elba.

Having established Proschwitz as an installation and service company, he soon began building up his own tower crane rental fleet, adding high-performance concrete mixing plants and custom built silos. Today the largely Terex fleet includes more than 100 units and employs more than 20 full time staff.
