Iteco showed three of its latest Scissor models and reported that the design and build quality of its new models is creating strong repeat business in Germany. In particular its policy of building separate models for indoor and outdoor use, rather than placing operating restrictions on indoor models for outdoor use, appears to be finding favour in Germany.

IPAF made a big feature of its Clunk Click harnesses for booms campaign, known as Click Clack. The results of this ongoing campaign were very visible with the majority of manufacturers insisting on the wearing of harnesses and short lanyards in their boom lifts, a transformation in 12 months. There were one or two notable exceptions most disappointingly with the representatives of two North American producers.
