French construction company Sueur has taken delivery of two recently launched Tadano 42ft AS-15MC telescopic self-propelled boom lifts.
The new model has a three section telescopic boom and offers a maximum working height of 14.8 metres with a dual platform capacity - 250kg unrestricted with a maximum outreach of 11.22 metres, while the maximum platform capacity of 450kg is available at up to 9.3 metres outreach.
Overall length is 7.14 metres, overall width 2.25 metres, and overall stowed height 2.13 metres. Slew is 360 degrees continuous, while power comes from a Kubota diesel. The overall weight is 8,200kg. The new machine is based on the Nagano S15AUJ - Tadano acquired Nagano at the end of 2023.
The standard AS-15MC comes with a 1.83 metre platform but Sueur opted for the larger 2.44 metre wide option, providing plenty of room for two people to work easily side by side. The two machines have been delivered to Sueur’s facility in Acq, Northern France, and will support its operations in timber construction projects.
Managing director Hervé Sueur said: “We've already had excellent experiences with a model we purchased two years ago, and also operate an older 35 tonne Tadano All Terrain crane, which is looked after by Tadano France's customer support team when needed. The machines, and the support from Tadano France, have been outstanding. Knowing that we will continue to work with the same team for cranes and aerial work platforms is a significant advantage for us.”
Tadano's Jean-Marie Grossmann added: “Sueur's decision to expand its fleet with two Tadano AS-15MCs is testament to the quality and reliability of our equipment. It's especially encouraging since Tadano recently entered the aerial work platform market in Europe, and deliveries of this type so quickly are a good sign. We hope to see many more Tadano aerial work platforms at work with French customers in the near future.”
