Instant Access acquires Ultrasafe Access
Instant Access Holdings has acquired the Sydney-based platform rental comapny Ultrasafe Access for an undisclosed sum. The move will make Instant one of the market leaders in this area.
Ultrasafe was established by its owner mangers Peter Gilmore and Nick Cveticanin in August 2003 and operates in the Sydney and Canberra regions targeting builders and commercial/industrial customers.
Instant’s chief executive, John Lucano said: “This acquisition will further grow Instant’s platform fleet on the Eastern Seaboard in addition to strengthening our sales and marketing focus with Ultrasafe’s founders joining our team. This acquisition will also provide the customers of Ultrasafe access to the complete range of access products, services and solutions.”
Instant was acquired by its managers and RMB Capital Partners a private equity investor from Ric Stowe in 2005. It distributes UpRight powered access and Instant alloy towers in Australia and Nw Zealand.

Instant operations include the manufacture, distribution and rental of aluminium and steel scaffolding, aerial work platforms and other access equipment from several locations in Australia and New Zealand.
