He was wearing a harness
The photos we published earlier this week of Eisele’s weekend launch of the new Wumag WT1000 102.5 metre platform height All Terrain aerial lift, generated several comments that it was a shame that the operator was not wearing a harness.

We can confirm that he was wearing a harness under his coat. As he and the machine were both in Basle yesterday for the first Europlatform we went out and investigated.

Sure enough from a distance it looked as though he had no harness on but on closer examination he was wearing his harness but had it covered with a heavy coat. Even though it was a sunny day yesterday, 100 metres up it was a little chilly.
