German first for Terex Comedil
The first Terex Comedil CBR 28 Plus self erecting tower crane has been delivered to Germany. The crane was handed over to the contract dealer Hunsrücker Baumaschinen Faust.
Managing director Andreas Faust said: "Here in the Hunsrueck region, our clients have lots of small, confined construction sites. The compact dimensions of the CBR and its excellent load capacity of the jib were the decisive factors for us. We were also impressed by the ease of operation."

The Comedil cranes are distributed in Germany by general importer CKD - the link between the Comedil factory in Italy and its 16 independent sales and service partners in Germany.
Comedil manufactures the self-erecting, flat-top and luffing jib cranes at two plants in Milan and Fontanafredda, Italy.
The CBR 28 Plus has a total length of 13.6 metres and a transport height of only 3 meters. The combination of the road travel axle, a steering angle of 90° and a wheel base of 5.3 meters gives good manoeuvrability, even in the most confined job sites. With a transport weight of 12.8 tons, Terex claims the CBR 28 Plus is one of the lightest in its class - a big advantage on soft ground. The crane has a standard hook height of 21.6 meters with a reach of 28 meters.
The maximum load capacity is 2.5 tonnes and the jib can handle loads of up to 900 kilograms. Via the standard luffing jib, the CBR 28 Plus has a hook height of 26.5 meters with a reach of 27.0 meters. The machine can also be used with the jib folded down giving a reach is 14.4 metres with a lifting capacity of 2.3 tonnes.
